September 2012- Jump zone Daddy date!
A day at the new Jump Zone! We went this Saturday, what a blast! Marsha had seen an advertisement for it when she was at the Rodeo, we decided to try it out. So Thursday right after school we went to jump. So fun! The girls couldn't stop talking about it! So of course when we got home they begged daddy to take them back on Saturday so that they could show him how cool the Jump Zone was. This time we all jumped! So awesome!
September 2012- After School Snack!
Two little school kids home from school! I sat Brody and Eliza down for snacks because they were starv'n marv-n's and just had to snap this picture. I was washing dishes and and started to chuckle at how busy their little conversation about school was. They talked about what their teachers looked like, what friends they have made already, what they liked about their class, what they didn't like. So cute. I hope they can always be little buddies. I love that about watching Marsha's kids 2 days out of the week they absolutely love each other and miss each other when they don't get to see one another. This picture is actually the first time Eliza and Brody had seen each other in 2 weeks. The Thatcher's went to California for a week and we left for Yellowstone for a week right after. They were just dying to see each other. So fun.
August 2012- First day of school!
Eliza's first day of Kindergarten! She was so excited that it finally arrived! All summer long she would say, "Mom, how much longer until school starts?" Every week! What a doll. I was so glad she was so excited and so ready to go to school because it helped me let her go without breaking down in tears! My baby girl all grown up. When we got to the class room she didn't even look back to say good bye. As if to say, "I got this mom!" So funny. But all week long, she'd come home just exhausted. We had to stop riding our bikes, because when we'd have to ride them back home she'd cry all the way home. She'd tell me her legs were too tired, but then we'd get home and she'd say it's really my head that's tired mom. Poor little thing, just a sponge soaking it all in, just takes it out of her.
This last week has been very hard. It's been hard for me to get used to this kindergarten schedule. I'm having to rearrange our home schedule and work schedule to makes this new transition. This next week as soon as I can get the house picked up and organized I am going to sit down and mark out a calendar so I feel more in control of this new 'school-life' we're so lucky to be in. Kinda wish she was still 4 not so complicated then. Too bad they have to grow up.
The first three pictures are with grandma Banham (grandma white) :) giving Eliza a pair of new school socks and pencils, along with a cute note encouraging her to have a good school year and have lots of fun! Thanks grandma.

September 2012- Labor Day Yellowstone Vacation
What a fun vacation we just had! We first started out on Thursday going to Hogle Zoo! The girls love, love, love everything about the zoo, especially the new polor bear and seals! We then stayed at the Little America hotel and swam! So much fun! In the morning we had their delicious breakfast buffet and then went home to get ready for Yellowstone the next day.
We saw moose in Jackson, I put three photo's of the mamma moose and her 2 babies playing in the brush, but it is very small so you'll have to really search for them. What blast to see them! We made it to Yellowstone, the girls were so good! It is the first Yellowstone trip in years where both our little princess's where amazing! Great sleepers, nice little buddies! Perfect trip, well deserved! We didn't get to see any bear, too bad. Maybe next year, but it was fun to have an Elk walk right in front of our truck and then down the side. Berry could have reached out and touched him. What an amazing beautiful Earth our Heavenly Father has given us! We wished we were still there enjoying our family, and scenery and all the animals!
